Sleipnir, “The Sliding One”
This is a plushie I made as a inside joke for my friends. I tend to take pranks pretty seriously as you can see. It started with an idea after I had decided to cosplay Loki so I set out to look for others who may have had the same idea. Sadly, I was disappointed in all that I found and therefore, I set out to do it by myself. I found a plush white horse (two of them obviously) at the local Toys R Us. I used silver and black Sharpie to dye him (took 12 silver and 3 black) then ripped one horse apart and attached the extra set of legs to the other. This is the result. He is still very fluffy and soft despite having to recolor him to the correct color.
He was introduced to his uncle, Thor, over the convention weekend and Sleipnir even attended the convention himself as two of my roommates got attached to him and carried him around. He was a real hit with the ladies.
New Warrior Wonder Woman Shots!
Had an absolute blast wearing Warrior Wonder Woman at SDCC. Surprisingly, I made it all day hauling around the incredibly heavy shield, proving that the dedicated lifting these past few months has yielded some results!
For anyone who hasn’t seen this costume before, it’s an original collaboration between artist Tess Fowler and I. I’ve always adored Diana’s Amazon roots, and wanted to pay tribute to that aspect of her legacy. Tess helped me flesh out the design, and then I went to work on the costume!
More photos coming soon - Ljinto and I worked some magic together! :D
Be still my heart!
Cosplayers get it.
